3. Color and resolution
when choosing color, it is necessary to consider the actual reproduction effect of printing, for example, try not to use the color in the purple acrylic court color system. The reason is that the purple color obtained after the superposition of cyan ink and magenta ink in the printing ink is generally "dirty", which is difficult to achieve the color shown to the customer in the computer display when designing the pattern or the color effect expected by the customer, and it is easy to cause quality accidents related to the color
if it is really necessary to print the ideal purple color, it is either recommended to use pink ink for superposition during design, or use spot color printing. If the designed product is in the experimental stage of new launch in the sales process, customers can be advised to use spot color to print the main color of the packaging, which can not only improve the brightness of the packaging pattern and color, but also reduce the risk of sluggish sales once the main color of the packaging is inconsistent with the popular color of the packaging market (if the main color of the product is printed with spot color, the main color of the packaging can be changed at any time according to the market needs in the sales process). In the graphic design of printing, the setting of resolution must be determined according to the requirements of design and printing process, especially the printing materials (mostly paper) and other factors. Not all pictures must be adjusted to the highest resolution. For example, the printing line of newspapers is lower than that of exquisite picture books, and their requirements for the resolution of image files are also different. If the resolution of the pictures on the paper printed newspaper is adjusted to the same resolution as the picture album printed on coated paper, it is not only meaningless, but also leads to printing paste

4. Typesetting scheme
designers must provide customers with a reasonable typesetting scheme according to their needs. For example, the market prospect of the products designed in flexographic printing is promising, and the product packaging has a large print volume at one time. Customers can be advised to vertically arrange multiple unit patterns, and improve the printing efficiency by increasing the circumference of the plate cylinder
when typesetting, pay attention to the direction of the paper, such as the trademark of bottled wine. Because it is mechanized labeling, it is fast. When the back of the paper is automatically glued and wet, it will instantly deform and bend. The bending direction of the paper should match the automatic labeling machine, otherwise it cannot be produced on the automatic assembly line

difficulty of post press processing
if there are many post-processing processes for a manuscript, it should be carefully considered not to make the printing layout very large. Otherwise, due to the poor control of temperature and humidity in the printing workshop, it is easy to cause the paper to stretch, so that the aluminum ironing and embossing of the next process are difficult to overprint accurately, resulting in the aluminum ironing and embossing that should be done once, and the pressing and embossing must be done several times. In addition, there are many collages and paper deformation, which will seriously affect the registration and is difficult to remedy
special shaped trademarks
trademark stickers are generally not large. For thin paper special-shaped trademarks that need die cutting, do not make too many collages, otherwise the quality of die cutting will be affected due to the accuracy of die-cutting plate production
printing quantity
if the printing quantity is small, don't make too many collages. Because the layout is too large and the printing quantity is very small, the cost of die-cutting plate is high, which will inevitably increase the cost of single label
paper opening number
the size of the packaging paper is consistent with the paper size, so the printing paper is very standard, and there is no waste. The packaging trademark is not the case. Due to the influence of the size of a single label, it is impossible to accurately spell it into octave, quarto and folio printing. Therefore, whether to adopt the splicing methods such as plug splicing, horizontal and vertical splicing, set splicing, one knife punching, knife drawing, etc. is based on the principle of saving printing paper as much as possible.
