Experts on medicinal materials and drug packaging pointed out at the "Third International Symposium on high and new science and technology for the protection and utilization of biodiversity" that the packaging of Chinese medicinal materials is very random and urgently needs to be standardized

Chinese medicinal materials are mainly composed of plants, animals and minerals stored under specific natural conditions, which have a specific "genuine". After the formation of the production place, Chinese medicinal materials enter the packaging, and after packaging, they are stored and transported until consumption and use (including clinical formulas or decoction pieces of traditional Chinese medicine, and materials fed by Chinese patent medicine factories). Therefore, when the market circulation of traditional Chinese medicine is relatively active, correct packaging methods and packaging quality play an important role in ensuring the safety, stability and effectiveness of the quality of traditional Chinese medicine

the packaging of medicinal materials is divided into internal and external packaging. In the circulation of domestic goods, except for a few precious varieties, highly toxic varieties or imported varieties, most of them only use external packaging for domestic circulation, which is also called transportation packaging. In order to ensure the safety of people's medication, in the mid-1980s, the national competent department first stipulated the transportation packaging (i.e. outer packaging) and transportation packaging marks of traditional Chinese medicine. The drug administration law of the people's Republic of China stipulates that drugs include the activities of the production and distribution units of traditional Chinese medicine to package drugs (medicinal materials); Those who violate the "Regulations" and cause serious consequences shall be investigated for criminal responsibility

however, for a long time, traditional Chinese medicine commodities have been cultivated (or raised) by farmers in production areas in the form of "agricultural and sideline products", and packaging materials have also been selected and used by "local materials" in production areas. There are many kinds of Chinese medicinal materials, with great differences in value. The production areas are widely distributed, and the packaging used is also diverse. At present, there is no unified packaging for the same traditional Chinese medicine in the domestic market, and most of the professional companies operating traditional Chinese medicine have not formulated relevant packaging standards. Some medicinal materials have different packaging in different production areas; Some medicinal materials have different packaging in the same production area due to different sales channels. At present, the types of medicinal materials packaging in the production area mainly include: Hemp slices (hemp bag slices), cloth bags, textile bags, bamboo baskets, bamboo baskets, Rattan Baskets, Rattan Baskets, wooden cases, barrels, iron concentrates, iron boxes, ceramic bottles, cartons, paper barrels, cartons, etc

different kinds of Chinese medicinal materials have different characteristics. Some must be moisture-proof, some must be pressure proof, some must be frost proof, and some must be dark. Therefore, the requirements for packaging are also different. However, there is a lot of randomness in the selection of traditional Chinese medicine packaging in production areas, most of which are local materials. Some medicinal materials are improperly used due to their special packaging, resulting in weakening and changes in efficacy; Some medicinal materials are polluted for the second time due to the wet and broken packaging, which leads to mildew, insects and even qualitative change of medicinal materials. This has not only caused certain economic losses, affected the safety of people's medication and the quality of Chinese patent medicine products, but also affected the entry of traditional Chinese medicine into the international pharmaceutical trade market. Therefore, standardizing the packaging of traditional Chinese medicine is one of the important contents of implementing the production quality management specification (GMP) of traditional Chinese medicine. Tls-w100 microcomputer controlled spring support and hanger experimental machine is widely used in various spring production enterprises and quality inspection departments

in order to adapt to the modernization of Chinese traditional medicine and the entry of traditional Chinese medicine into the international market, all regions are engaged in the production of medicinal materials. Manufacturers engaged in business should follow the national regulations and policies on the packaging management of medicinal materials, and study and standardize the packaging materials and packaging processes of medicinal materials produced or operated in succession. Relevant experts put forward seven key points for the standardized management of the packaging of Chinese herbal medicines:

first, the national regulations on the packaging and packaging requirements of more than 300 commonly used Chinese herbal medicines, and other varieties should also refer to the implementation of

general herbal medicines are mostly packed in gunny bags, and some of them (such as Typhae, pine pollen, Sea Sands) need to be lined with cloth bags. Mineral and shell medicinal materials are packed in plastic woven bags. Valuable medicinal materials (such as ginseng, Panax notoginseng), perishable medicinal materials (such as wolfberry fruit, Cornus officinalis), fragile medicinal materials (such as chicken nuggets, rose flowers), and medicinal materials that need to be packaged in glassware (such as bamboo juice) should be packed in corrugated boxes lined with moisture-proof paper or plastic film, coated with moisture-proof oil on the surface of the box or wrapped in linen and sacks outside the box, and then tied with plastic tape. For medicinal materials that are not easy to deform and break under pressure, it is advisable to use a packer to compress and pack them. Hemp cloth, coarse plain cloth and plastic woven cloth can be used to wrap the compressed packaging parts. Some medicinal materials need to be lined with moisture-proof paper (such as lotus whiskers and Huoxiang). Flowers, leaves and grass medicinal materials with soft texture need to be wrapped with a support made of bamboo chips, thorns and purple locust strips, and wrapped with hemp rope, brown rope or round iron wire

II. Packaging equipment (bags, boxes, boxes, cans, etc.) and packaging materials should be pollution-free, new, or cleaned, dry, and undamaged

transportation packaging (outer packaging) must be clear and firmly pasted, and should comply with the provisions of national standards GB "packaging for the transportation of traditional Chinese medicine bags", GB "packaging for the transportation of traditional Chinese medicine compressed but must ensure very high purity", and GB "packaging for the transportation of traditional Chinese medicine corrugated boxes"

III. The medicinal materials should be checked again before packaging to remove foreign matters and inferior products

IV. after packaging, there should be batch packaging records, including product name (drug name), batch number, specification, place of origin, production date, etc

v. fragile medicinal materials should be packed in solid boxes (boxes); Precious and hemp not only fix the wedge, but also play a certain strengthening role. Drunk and toxic Chinese medicinal materials should be packed separately, and the corresponding obvious signs should be pasted on the outer package and sealed

VI. dangerous traditional Chinese medicine (dangerous goods) must be packed separately according to different properties, and the outer package must be marked or pasted with dangerous goods signs to attract attention during transportation and storage. The packaging of dangerous traditional Chinese medicine must be pasted in accordance with the provisions of the national standard GB "packaging marks of dangerous goods", and the category of the mark must be marked

VII. The transportation and packaging marks should conform to the provisions of the national standard GB "packaging, storage and transportation index marks" for the inner and outer covering parts of automobiles that can be smoothly formed with a mold common to steel plates, and accurately indicate the pictorial marks reflecting the nature of traditional Chinese medicine commodities and operation requirements. The paint used for making signs should have the properties of moisture resistance, sun resistance, wear resistance and so on, so as to avoid color fading and falling off. Transportation package marks shall be made at obvious positions to facilitate handling, stacking and other operations. For containers that cannot be printed with packaging marks, tickets that are not easy to fall off should be hung at appropriate parts. In order to facilitate the stacking and transportation of traditional Chinese medicine, two identical marks must be made on the same package, so that the storage and transportation personnel can identify the other side when one side is invisible or blurred
